Claim Information

PrivilegeFlyer requires a claim form in order to file a claim for the following:

    AwardGuard Claim
    AwardExtender Claim
    Revenue/Bumped Ticket Claim
    Acccidental Death Claim

  • These claim forms may be completed and submitted online or you may contact our service center to make a request.


  • Please do not mail in any statements, award certificates or other materials until:

      AwardGuard -- the airline completely goes out of business.
      AwardExtender -- your miles have expired.

  • Twenty-one days notice and a Saturday night stay are required on all AwardGuard and AwardExtender claims.


  • PrivilegeFlyer will impose a $75 change fee in addition to what the ticketing airline charges for changing the ticket.


  • PrivilegeFlyer will impose a $100 cancellation fee in addition to what the ticketing airline charges for cancelling a ticket.


  • Non-refundable tickets are just that. Once ticketed, they become the PrivilegeFlyer members' responsibilty and will not be refundable.


  • All travel arrangements are handled by our claims division and booked through Frequent Flyer Travel Services, an ARC approved travel agency.


  • The member may request a preferred airline and such a request will be taken into consideration. The replacement airline used will be at the discretion of our claims division.

    Please note: AwardGuard and AwardExtender do not cover upgrades or segment promotions.

    One time aggregate amount of $7,500 per individual membership in AwardGuard claims.
